At its April 5, 2018 meeting, the Board of Education recognized William Fremd High School student Maegan Jong for earning the highest possible composite score on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Comprised of mathematics, critical reading, and writing tests, about 1.7 million students nationally take the SAT college-entrance exam each year. Of those, less than 300 students achieved a top score on the exam. Maegan is just the 11th District 211 student to do so since 1998.
